Today I'd like to take you through what a forced ventilation fan is.

A forced ventilation fan is a device that forces air flow by mechanical means. It mainly relies on the motor to drive the impeller to rotate, generating high-speed airflow. The rotation of the impeller causes the air to gain kinetic energy, which creates a pressure difference that pushes the air along a specific channel. It can transport air from one area to another or introduce outside air into a specific space for ventilation.

There are various types of forced ventilation fans, the following are some common types:

1. Centrifugal ventilation fan, which mainly relies on the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the impeller, so that the air gains kinetic energy and is thrown out of the impeller, and then enters the casing and is discharged along a specific air duct. The flow direction of air in the impeller is radial, entering the impeller from the axial direction and then flowing out radially.

2. Axial flow ventilation fan, the impeller of this type of ventilation fan is parallel to the motor shaft, and the air flows through the impeller in the axial direction. When the impeller rotates, it pushes the air to flow along the axial direction, generating airflow.

Forced ventilation fans can be used in a variety of industries, mainly in the following industries:

1.Industrial field

In factory workshops, forced ventilation fans are used to remove harmful gases, dust and odors to keep the working environment clean and safe. For example, in the welding workshop, the ventilator can quickly remove the smoke and harmful gases produced by welding. For some equipment that needs heat dissipation, such as large motors, transformers, etc., forced ventilation fans can provide cooling air to prevent equipment damage from overheating.

2.Building field

In the ventilation system of buildings, forced ventilation fan plays a key role. It can introduce fresh air into the room, while discharging dirty air to improve indoor air quality. For example, in large public buildings such as shopping malls and hotels, the ventilator ensures air circulation in crowded places. In underground parking lots and other closed spaces, ventilators can remove harmful gases such as car exhaust to ensure fresh air.

3. Agricultural field

In greenhouses, forced ventilation fans are used to regulate the temperature and humidity to create a suitable growing environment for crops. Through ventilation, it can reduce the temperature in the shed and prevent the breeding of pests and diseases. In livestock and poultry breeding places, the ventilator can remove harmful gases and moisture to keep the breeding environment hygienic.
