Centrifugal fans can be divided into various types according to the shape and discharge direction of the impeller:

DC Centrifugal Fan: This type of centrifugal fan is driven by a DC motor and is usually used in applications that require control of air volume and air pressure, such as air conditioning, ventilation systems.

Forward inclined centrifugal fan: This type of centrifugal fan has a relatively small front curve of the impeller and is suitable for applications with low air volume and high air pressure, such as gas circulation, filtration, etc.

Backward inclined centrifugal fan: This type of centrifugal fan has a larger rear curve of the impeller and is suitable for applications with large air volume and low air pressure, such as ventilation, dehumidification, heating, etc.

Multi-stage centrifugal fan: This type of centrifugal fan is composed of multiple impellers, and the wind pressure and air volume are increased by superimposing the wind force of multiple impellers, which is suitable for occasions that require higher wind pressure and air volume.

Diagonal Flow Centrifugal Fan: The impeller of this type of centrifugal fan consists of blades that flow obliquely, which can provide a more even air flow distribution and is suitable for air conditioning and ventilation systems that require uniform air flow. These are just some common types of centrifugal fans, and there are other special-purpose centrifugal fans, such as high-temperature centrifugal fans, explosion-proof centrifugal fans, etc. The specific selection should be determined according to actual needs.
