How to select fans for the cement industry?

Cement plant fans fail for three main reasons: high temperature, high dust, and Incorrect match.
Kiln tail fans — inlet gas at 200-300°C, standard bearings won't last. Seals fail early.
Raw mill fans — sticky dust builds up on the impeller, airflow drops off.
Clinker cooler fans , can't adjust with production changes, so energy waste is constant.

When selecting, don't just look at the fan. Look at your conditions first. What temperature at the kiln tail? What's the dust concentration? What's the required pressure? For impeller materials, the cement industry generally chooses to weld a wear-resistant layer onto the impeller surface.
